Meet the PIB Concept.
One screenless Core. Multiple wearable possibilities. Designed around zero memory burden for the person wearing it.
The concept at the center.
The PIB Core is a compact wearable concept currently in development. It is being designed to deliver caregiver-recorded voice messages, signal with light and vibration, and recognize a simple squeeze acknowledgment. The wearer would not need to navigate settings, read a screen, enter a password, or remember how to operate it.
Location awareness — a planned development goal.
Location awareness and caregiver-defined safe-zone alerts are planned development goals. The required connectivity, accuracy, alert timing, power consumption, and battery performance must be determined through engineering, prototyping, and testing. These capabilities are not yet commercially available or verified.

Everything the wearer needs. Nothing they have to do.
Hear someone you love.
Caregivers record messages in their own voice through the planned PIBcare app. The PIB is designed to play them back — familiar, warm, and clear. No robotic text-to-speech. The wearer would hear the actual voice of someone they trust.
Guided by light and touch.
The PIB is being designed to signal with light and vibration before playing a message — no screen to look at, no text to read. Planned to communicate through touch and sound, meeting the wearer exactly where they are.
One squeeze. That's all.
The wearer simply squeezes the soft PIB to acknowledge a message. The planned caregiver system would report the acknowledgment — or notify the caregiver when no response is received. No buttons to find. No screen to tap.
The caregiver handles everything.
The planned PIBcare companion app is being developed to let caregivers record voice messages, schedule delivery, and monitor acknowledgments — all from their own phone. The wearer never touches a setting.
Fits into their life.
The removable PIB Core is being explored for use with different wearable holders. Concepts under consideration include bracelets, necklaces, glasses, hats, earrings, and pocket clips. Final forms will depend on engineering, comfort, safety, and prototype testing.
Nothing to learn. Nothing to remember.
The PIB concept is designed around zero memory burden for the wearer. No passwords. No logins. No screens. No instructions to follow. The wearer puts it on and goes about their day.
Six ways to wear it.

Bracelet
Always on the wrist.
A discreet, comfortable wristband that keeps the PIB module close and accessible. Familiar enough to forget it's there — functional enough to matter when it counts.
Necklace
Close to the heart.
A pendant-style accessory that keeps the PIB near the chest. Lightweight, unobtrusive, and easy to wear all day — even for those who resist new devices.
Glasses
Built into what they already wear.
The PIB module integrates into eyeglass frames the wearer already uses every day. No new habit to form. No new object to remember. It's just their glasses.
Hat
Natural. Familiar. Invisible.
For wearers who prefer hats, the PIB clips discreetly into the brim or band. Nothing new to put on — just the hat they already reach for every morning.
Earrings
Subtle and stylish.
A jewelry-forward form factor for wearers who already wear earrings daily. The PIB module is embedded in a small, elegant earring design — indistinguishable from regular jewelry.
Pocket Clip
For those who keep it close.
A simple clip-on form that attaches to a shirt pocket, waistband, or bag strap. Ideal for wearers who prefer not to wear jewelry or accessories on their body.
No smartphone required. On the wearer's end.
The PIB concept is being developed for anyone whose caregiver wants to stay connected — without putting the burden of a device on the person being cared for.
People with Memory Loss
Dementia. Alzheimer's. Cognitive decline.
The PIB is designed to meet the wearer exactly where they are. No learning curve. No new passwords. No frustration. Zero memory needed to use it.
Family Caregivers
You handle the controls. They just wear it.
Record your voice in the planned PIBcare app. Set the schedule. The PIB is designed to handle the rest — so you can be present all day, even when you can't be there in person.
Professional Caregivers
Designed to support your work.
A screenless, voice-first tool being developed to support people in your care — without adding complexity to your workflow or theirs.
People Who Struggle with Screen-Based Technology
Elderly. Overwhelmed by tech.
Elderly individuals who never adopted smartphones. Anyone who finds modern devices confusing or inaccessible. If a caregiver wants to stay connected, the PIB concept is designed to make it possible.
